We use the revolutionary STUDEX® System 75 sterilized FDA approved “touch free” instrument for guaranteed hygienic and gentle ear-piercing. No guns, needles or reused parts, the STUDEX® System 75 is a guaranteed hygienic and gentle ear-piercing process engineered for safety, comfort, and ease of use.
Provides ULTIMATE HYGIENE
The STUDEX system 75 cartridge is designed to be loaded in the instrument while still inside its sterile package providing touch free operation. After piercing, every part of the device that comes in contact with the customer is disposed of, unlike the old spring loaded or “gun” systems which are reused between customers.
Enables ENHANCED HEALING
Automatic positioning of the clasp ensures that the correct space is left at the front and back of the ear to enhance the healing process.

Everything you need to know about PRIV’s in-home ear piercing service, from our range of hypoallergenic jewelry to our fleet of fully trained ear piercing professionals.
Prices range from $75 – $130, and include the cost of the jewelry, service and aftercare solution.
If you are under the age of 18 years old, you will need a parent or legal guardian present to provide consent. Make sure you bring a form of identification with you to verify your age, such as a driver’s license, school identification, birth certificate or passport.
All Studex earrings are nickel-free, hypoallergenic, and allergy free.
Everyone is different but a minimum of 6-8 weeks for earlobe piercings and 12 weeks for ear cartilage piercings.
You must follow the aftercare guidelines for the entire duration of the healing process. Even if your new piercings feel like they have healed, please continue the aftercare process provided by our team.
You can change your earrings out once your new piercings have fully healed as per our healing guidelines. 6-8 weeks for ear lobes and 12 weeks for cartilage piercings. We recommend always wearing premium jewelry in your ears when sleeping such as stainless steel, sterling silver or gold plated jewelry.
No. Our Studex System 75 ear piercing system is gentle, quiet and uses hand pressure to pierce the ear quickly and accurately in one smooth, quiet motion. Piercing guns are spring-loaded, loud and use increased amounts of power to “shoot” the jewelry through the earlobe or cartilage.
Removing or replacing the piercing earrings can cause irritation, so we suggest waiting the recommended amount of time. Your new piercings need the entire recommended time to heal properly.
If the aftercare instructions are followed, it is unlikely that you will develop an infection.
If your ears are painful and red, please seek medical attention immediately.
We recommend you consult your primary care physician first and have them provide consent prior to booking an ear piercing appointment.
Our in-home ear piercing service professionals undergo thorough piercing training that contains several E-Learning modules, Global Piercing processes, How to Create a Clean & Safe Piercing Environment followed by in depth training with our Piercing Trainers. We do not pass any Priv Professional in the Piercing training unless we are 100% confident that they are ready to pierce our clients.
